Kaiseki Anime Podcast Episode 013 – On the Court with Hanebado!

It takes a special kind of sports show to bring together a sports anime hater and lover to a single table. Call it success, or helium-bloated drama, Hanebado! promises to not bore you, nor let you walk away without a strong opinion* one way or another.

*On a second watch of the available episodes, I realized I had forgotten some notable scenes like bath time with Frederica Girls, so my observation of this show lacking an overt male gaze stands a bit corrected.

I know what I said about trying to keep regular episodes short at around thirty minutes, but trust me when I say that’s pretty much impossible with full season reviews and previews.
