Since I originally planned on having this out earlier, I thought I’d have a separate, very short post wishing everyone a Happy New Year. Buuuuuut, thanks to my recent infatuation with Korean dramas, finishing up the fall anime became less of a priority. Although it took a bit longer than anticipated, here are my quick final impressions of the fall season. Happy 2012, everyone!
We’re only 4 or so weeks into the fall season, and my favorite characters are already making places for themselves. I’ve always been attracted to strong characters with lots of resolve and motivation, a trend that continues to be true even now. As always, thank you for reading, and I hope that you, too, will share your favorite maidens of Fall 2011.
The fall season has certainly started off with some stellar graphics and animation, with the following five setting some great examples. I was also caught a bit off guard by their airing since I was focused on wrapping up my summer season final thoughts (still in progress as I’m waiting on some final episodes). I’m pretty positive that at least four of the five described here are on my watching list, with only one of them still undecided.
What a great anime to use as the start for this blog >.< Shinryaku! Ika Musume was probably the biggest surprise for this season and a weekly delight in humor and sheer cuteness. Hopefully when I re-watch this, I’ll be able to do an entry for each episode, as it’s pretty tough to talk about this series as a whole without referencing almost every single episode.
